This is a photo of N-hotel, a new business establishment in our city. I really liked this place. They have a nice and clean swimming pool. I loved the sumptuous foods they served at buffet table at breakfast. We spent our first family vacation for this year at N-hotel. We appreciated the warm and friendly hotel crews who entertained us during our one-day stay there. Our kids and I had a great time playing in the pool. My husband stayed only at the poolside, watching over us while taking some photos. It was indeed a good place to stay for family recreation. We spent quality time with the kids. At our room, I played hide and seek with my sons. We ate and had fun together.

Our kids had a great time playing with their cousins during our family reunion at Dakak Beach Resort last year. I t was an early morning at the beach where we had our breakfast by the sea. The kids had fun playing in the sand, looking for some sea shells. They embraced the warmth of the sun and the sea breeze. Such moments as these rarely happen since their two cousins lived in the States. They only visit us once every two years because of the great distance among us. We are all hoping that my sister would continue to visit us again soon so that our kids could get in touch with one another as they grow up.

Our kids, Jojo, my extended family by affinity and I were very happy and excited on the arrival of my sister-in-law, ate Myrna and “bilas”, kuya Jerry who came home from Hawaii on January, 2012. They came to the Philippines for a vacation to spend precious time with us. All of us grown-ups who are employed or working made it a point to take a leave of absence or be absent from work for a few days just to be with this rare occasion. The children also made an excuse to be absent from their class for this grand 5-day family vacation with their beloved “mama” Inday and “Papa” Jerry. On our first night together as a family, ate Inday and kuya Jerry opened their “balikbayan” box filled with “pasalubongs”. Everyone had our fair share of sweet goodies and different kinds of stuff.

It’s nice to work as a team. Truly, the bond is stronger when you all work together as one towards the same goal. There is a strong impact if each of us in field office contribute our individual talents, skills and abilities in attaining our agency’s vision and mission. Just as the saying that goes, “two heads are better than one” applies to all aspects. The success of our agency depends to a great extent on the leadership of our regional director as well as our immediate field supervisors. Because they work as one, the outcome of their good leadership redounds to their subordinates.

This is the perspective of the home improvement which Jojo and I have planned to introduce this year. Except for the front roof extension at the left side, all others were existing part of our house. The proposed improvement may seem so little but it will cost much because the polycarbonate materials that will be used are quite expensive. We had been saving and is still saving for this because we want this dream to be realized as one of our major projects for this year. When the kids and I saw the perspective, they were just as excited as me for its implementation.
